Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has just issued the Action Program to implement the Government's Resolution No. 01/NQ-CP dated January 1st 2017 on major tasks and solutions to direct the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and state budget estimates for the year 2017.

Accordingly, the provincial People's Committee set out nine groups of measures including: macroeconomic stability, inflation control; Improve the business environment, encourage start-ups, develop businesses, improve productivity, quality, efficiency and competitiveness; Continue to restructure the economy combine with the growth paradigm model; Continue to accelerate the implementation of 3 breakthroughs in the socio-economic development strategy in the period 2011-2020; Ensuring social security, improving people's lives, developing the culture, implementing social justice progress; Enhance resource management and environmental protection; To actively prevent and combat natural disasters and respond to climate change; Accelerating administrative reform; To build a modern and professional administration to well serve the people and enterprises; Strengthening anti-corruption; Resolve the claim and accusation; Strengthening national defense and security, ensuring social order and safety; Enhance communication work.
According to the Resolution of the Provincial People's Council, in 2017, Khanh Hoa province strives to reach the targets of socio-economic development: the economic growth rate (GRDP) increases by 6.5-7%; Industrial production index (IIP) increases by 7.5%; The value of industrial production - construction increases by 8.8%; The value of agriculture, forestry and fishery increases by 2.8%; State budget revenues in the area of 17,260 million Dong; Export turnover of goods reaches 1,320 million USD; Total social development investment capital is 36,800 billion Dong; The number of doctors per 10,000 people reaches 6.5 doctors; The rate of poverty reduction (according to new standards) reaches 1.73%; The number of employed people increases by 9,000 in the year; The proportion of trained workers compared to total employees is 69.2%; 39.4% of the communes have 19 new rural criteria (equivalent to 37/94 communes).
